Covid Exercise Shifts

One of my biggest covid fears was losing the progress I’ve made in my physical wellness. 3 years in to my commitment to exercise, I’ve dealt with the hurdles of sprained ankles and constant work travel —always finding new ways to adjust at the gym. Not having a gym, equipment, or my typical morning routine scared me. Add the stress of “shelter at home” and furlough?

I learned I needed to get more creative and adjust, because exercise helped my mental well-being more than I realized. It is hard for all of us to get motivated to move right now—me included. But I get up every morning making the commitment to myself to do something… anything. Ultimately, after a few months, I’m actually liking my new routine! And when you like something, you feel better, and you see results.
